Job description

Urch Publishing needs freelance authors to research and write pharmaceutical sector/ market reports. Urch reports provide management in the global pharmaceutical industry with information and insight into key issues affecting the sector. Topics covered by reports include, distribution, pricing, HIV, licensing and regulation.

Key responsibilities:

• Knowledge of the pharmaceutical/biotechnology industry
• Qualification or experience in business-related research
• Market analysis, including evaluation of competitive environment
• Business report writing
• Working independently with limited supervision
• Ability to deliver work within tight deadlines

Key skills:

• Fluency in French and Arabic highly essential
• Understanding of the MENA economics and politics
• Degree in business studies / economics required, an MSc advantageous
• High standard of business english
• High standard of IT skills
• Previous experience in a research role desirable
